The objective of industrial visits is to bridge the widening gap between theoretical learning and practical exposure by giving students first-hand exposure to identify the inputs and outputs of different business operations and processes performed at the workplace.
An industrial visit was organized by ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING & ELECTRICAL AND COMPUTER SCIENCE ENGINEERING dept. of TECHNO COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING, AGARTALA for the students of 6th semester EE and ECSE dept. ON 6th April, 2024 at OTPC Tripura, PALATANA Thermal Power Plant. Asst. Prof. Partha Pratim Chakraborty (Coordinator) and other faculties (Asst. Prof. Animesh Roy, Asst Prof. Santanu Bhattacharjee, Lecturer Mr. Abhijit Saha, Lecturer Rahul Sarkar) with the students of 6th semester EE and ECSE dept. students have done the visit successfully.
The main objective of the visit was to enhance the students’ theoretical knowledge of water treatment by showing them the practical operation of each treatment unit of WTP at Panchamukh, Agartala.
The programme having been successful, the Techno College of Engineering Agartala would like to thank the Superintendent Engineer, Jal Board, Agartala for kindly allowing the students to visit the WTP.
