Is there any Diploma Course available in TCEA?
From academic session 2021, it has introduced three diploma level courses viz Diploma in Civil Engineering (Construction Technology), Diploma in Computer Science & Engineering, Diploma in Computer Science & Engineering (Artificial Intelligence), Diploma in Cloud Computing and Big Data, Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
How do I know TCEALET result ?
From where I can view prospectus, application form or other materials like TCEALET Syllabus ?
I could not Qualify Through TCEALET and/or could not get Management Quota Seat , what is my option as a diploma holder ?
Subject to the availability of seat, you may take admission in the 1st semester per AICTE norms.
I have completed B.SC with Mathematics , can I take admission into the 2nd year/3rd semester at TCEA directly ?
Subject to the availability of seat per AICTE norms, you have to qualify through TCEALET and/or get admission through Management quota.
I have not appeared for the TBJEE exam, can I take admission at TCEA?
Yes, you can. There are two different ways :
- If you have JEEMAIN Rank
- If you do not have TBJEE or JEEMAIN rank , If seat through the Management Quota is available and if you qualify per norms of AICTE,Govt. of India.

Why should I select Techno College of Engineering Agartala (TCEA) as my destination ?

Techno College of Engineering Agartala ( Formarly, Techno India Agartala (TIA) ) is around 3 KM away from Agartala Rail Station and less than 2 KMs from the Maheshkhola Market. TCEA has started its academic session from August 2014 onward.The current campus is still under the process of development. Govt. of Tripura has given the land to Techno India Group (TIG) to build this campus.
What is the legal status of Techno College of Engineering Agartala (TCEA) ?
TCEA is affiliated to Tripura University – a Central Govt. University . TCEA is also approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE),Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD),Govt. of India
What is the faculty strength of TCEA and how capable they are ?
TCEA has 50+ strong faculty members. Most probably, TCEA has the best student teacher ratio by any standard in Tripura State. All the faculty members of TCEA are recruited through written examination and interview. TCEA selects the faculty members with AICTE specified qualifications like Master degree with GATE/NET qualifications and/or PhD degree.TCEA Faculty members are the alumni of Indian Institute of Technology(IIT),Birla Institute Of Technology (BIT),National Institute of Technology (NIT) and Tripura University (TU).The academic affairs and administration is led by a veteran who has around three decades of experience in the industries and national R&D labs in India and abroad ( North America and Europe). Its mandatory for the TCEA faculty members to publish research papers periodically.
