To maintain the data-base of the students, staff and faculty of the institute in conformity with objective of the Equal Opportunity Cell.
To organize various awareness programmes including workshops and seminars in this context.
The Convenor is to co-ordinate the activities of the Cell.
To promote equal opportunity through sensitization and awareness programs on policies and schemes on human rights, gender issues, etc.
To provide opportunity of skill development and to enhance employability.
To examine cases of violation of equal opportunity, if any, then speed up possible remedy.
To provide orientation in public examinations and other tests which will help them receive financial support from State/Central Government.
To ensure implementation of reservation policy with regard to admission to academic programs.
To help and develop a cordial inter-personal relationship among students and between teachers and the students for academic interaction and extra-curricular activities; by sensitizing the teaching and other staff.
