Objective of the Event
Following were the primary objectives of the session:
1. Awareness Building: To introduce and create awareness among students, faculty, and academic institutions about various programmes and schemes launched under the MIC (Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell).
2. Promoting Innovation: To encourage and guide institutions to encourage a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship, aligning with the vision of the Ministry of Education.
3. Guidance from Experts: To provide participants with first-hand insights and practical guidance from Dr. Abhay Jere on how to effectively implement MIC initiatives within their institutions.
4. Understanding Funding Opportunities: To explain available funding and support mechanisms under MIC schemes, enabling institutions to leverage these opportunities for innovation and research development.
5. Clarifying Roles and Responsibilities: To clarify the roles of institutions, faculty, and students in actively participating and benefiting from MIC initiatives.
6. Strategic Alignment: To help academic institutions align their efforts with national goals of promoting a robust innovation ecosystem and contributing to India’s vision of becoming a global innovation hub.
