Admission Procedure

The admission process is designed to offer multiple entry pathways for students applying to B.Tech and Diploma programmes.

B.Tech Programmes

Regular Entry

• Candidates must have successfully qualified Higher Secondary (+2) or equivalent examination.
• A valid score in recognized entrance examinations such as TBJEE, WBJEE, or JEE (Main) is required.

Lateral Entry

• Candidates must have completed a 3-year Diploma in Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Admission is based on performance in the TCEALET examination.
• The entrance test is conducted by Techno College of Engineering Agartala.
• Seats are allocated against vacancies remaining after regular admissions of the previous academic year.

Diploma Programmes

Regular Entry

• Candidates must have passed the Madhyamik Examination (or equivalent) from a recognized board such as TBSE, CBSE, or ICSE, as per AICTE norms.

Lateral Entry

• Candidates must have completed a 2-year ITI course from a recognized institute.
• Admissions are offered against seats remaining vacant after the previous year’s regular intake.
