\u201cEducation\u201d is the substratum for development of any civilization. Progress of education requires discipline both among the teachers and students. Students are likely to have a rationality of belonging for the property of the institute and respect for all the members of academic authority. The institute administration expects all its students to conform to the prevailing norms regarding discipline and general behaviour. Every student must be punctual and regular in attending all classes and sessional tests. They are expected to participate in games, sports, cultural and co-curricular activities.<\/p>

The institute has a disciplinary committee. The disciplinary committee, by majority decision is authorized to suggest any action including expulsion from the institute.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

\u00a0The procedure for student discipline may be invoked if a student is alleging to have committed any of the following:<\/p>

  • Assaulting or holding threat behavior to other student\/employee of the college.<\/li>
  • Damage to college property or the property of any student\/ member of staff\/visitors.<\/li>
  • Any action likely to cause injury to any person or impairing the safety of the college campus.<\/li>
  • Any criminal offence.<\/li>
  • A breach of equal opportunity policy including racial or sexual harassment, including ragging.<\/li>
  • Misappropriation or misuse of college fund or assets.<\/li>
  • Abusive, antisocial, unreasonable behaviors.<\/li>
  • Behavior, likely to cause fear, distress and offence to others.<\/li>
  • Breach of University Regulations.<\/li>
  • Failure to comply with policies and directions relating to the effective functioning of the college.<\/li>
  • Abuse or attempt to abuse security, integrity and privacy of any files or confidential material.<\/li>
  • Inviting outside elements to the college campus without the permission of the college authority.<\/li>
  • Attempt to persuade student to boycott or postpone university examination.<\/li>
  • Possession or use of any kind of alcoholic drinks, narcotics, unlawful drugs, possession of unlawful materials.<\/li>
